The Filson Historical Society is Kentucky’s oldest privately supported Historical Society, founded in 1884. It has been collecting and preserving Kentucky and the Ohio Valley region’s significant stories for 128 years.

Interschool Orchestras of New York
The InterSchool Orchestras of New York brings young instrumentalists together for inclusive, ensemble-based music making in a friendly environment. With six youth orchestras and two symphonic bands, virtually all young musicians will find the right place for themselves to create beautiful music with their peers. LAPA Fundraising manages the Orchestras private foundation portfolio.
The Shore Line Trolley Museum
The Shore Line Trolley Museum is a showcase for the golden age of trolleys in the U.S. and Canada, and also runs the oldest continuously operating suburban trolley line in the United States. LAPA is conducting a $2 million capital campaign for the museum.

Pawling Public Radio
LAPA created an outreach plan to community foundations, submitting the applications and advising the client on expansion strategies. PPR’s mission is to produce and broadcast cultural, informative and educational programs with an emphasis on the local community. Additionally, PPR provides numerous educational opportunities sanctioned and mandated by The NYS Department of Education. PPR’s studio welcomes the community to its studio center for communication and broadcasting a minimum of twenty hours per week.
