João has a background in Internation Relations and Political Science, and his master’s thesis about the cultural component of the integration of immigrants was approved with the highest honors in Portugal. Prior to joining LAPA, he worked for international organizations such as the Red Cross and UNHCR, in the United Kingdom and in Switzerland respectively.
João brings a consolidated knowledge about non-profit management and operations, as well as a solid experience with client relations.
