Julia, M.A., brings experience in non-profit fundraising on an international scale, having worked for organizations based in Europe and Africa. In particular, Julia first became involved in non-profit grant writing working remotely for Kar Geno: an NGO based in remote Western Kenya supporting HIV-affected women. In her time with Kar Geno, Julia helped the organization connect with interested donors in Europe and the United States and secure emergency funding during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Julia is a native of Philadelphia, PA where also she received a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Pennsylvania. She went on to receive her Master’s in Modern British History from the University of Cambridge.
