
Katie Borden, MPA
Katie Scolari Borden has more than 20 years experience in nonprofit leadership, partnership development, strategic planning, branding, and fundraising on behalf of international development, child welfare, global water and sanitation, collective impact, scholarships and educational equity initiatives. She has worked as a consultant for nonprofits start-ups across the country, and as in-house staff for local and international organizations. Katie holds and MPA from the University of Colorado Denver and a BS in International Politics from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
Katie serves on multiple nonprofit boards supporting reproductive rights, affordable housing, and educational equity. As a working mother and cancer survivor, she brings empathy and passion to all her roles.
