Kenya Edmonds
Kenya Chantè Edmonds has an extensive history of working at nonprofit organizations that focus on serving vulnerable populations and underserved communities. Most recently, she worked in operations to promote good relations and practices towards diversity, equity, and inclusion. Currently, Kenya works on the Youth Justice Initiative at Columbia University’s Justice Lab. She graduated with honors from John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she obtained a BA in Law & Society.
This spring, she will earn an MSW with a concentration in Organizational Management and Leadership from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Kenya is dedicated to disrupting and dismantling institutional racism.
