Michael has served as the Director of Development for a Harlem nonprofit housing and hospitality organization, increasing their overall giving by 36%, and is experienced with faith-based missions.

Michael holds a B.A. in Classical Rhetorical Theory from the University of South Carolina, with graduate studies in Philosophy of Language. Michael is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and has regularly participated in the Contemplative Leadership Training Institute at the Shalem Institute in Washington, D.C. Michael is a Certified Fundraising Executive.
